The Reincarnated Woman

The first time I ever saw or heard of Georgia Rudolph, she was on Unsolved Mysteries.

The next time I saw her, she was a guest speaker in Marietta, Ohio.

On both occasions she talked about being re-incarnated, and believing that she had lived in Newport, Ohio in a previous life.

A Strange Experience

I attended the speech with a couple of my friends. There was already a nice crowd of people by the time we arrived.

Ever since grade school, I'd preferred to sit near the front of the room, so my friends and I began walking toward the front row of seats. As we slowly walked that direction, we noticed that as we passed the rows of seats, the people became strangely quiet, and if they spoke to one another at all, it was in hushed tones.

Not normally a "self conscious" individual, I felt my cheeks flush as I whispered to my friends .... "Gee, did I forget to comb my hair? I am dressed, aren't I? Why do I feel as if everyone is staring at me?"

"Because they are .... and yes, you are dressed properly, and your hair looks fine."

A Spooky Resemblance

It took several minutes to figure out what the "hush" was all about, but when we looked up and saw the portrait of a woman who looked enough like me to be a close relative......same blond hair, same facial structure, same eyes.....it was spooky.

We were all surprised to learn that the picture was of the young woman whom Rudolph believed she had been in a previous life. Her dark hair and very heavy frame work certainly hid the resemblances well!

The Book Offer

After the speech that night, I approached the stage area where Rudolph stood shaking hands and signing autographs. She had mentioned wanting to write a book, and since I was about to undertake a couple of writing projects, I wondered if she would be interested. Perhaps we could co-write a book together.

But, after hearing of my plans and my field of expertise....dreams, dream interpretations, psychic phenomena, etc. she informed me that she wished she could assist me in the project but felt that I was light-years ahead of her and that she would only hold me back.

Within a year and a half from that night, I would meet Georgia Rudolph again. And once again be reminded that her field of expertise was not dream work.
