Please Help Us Solve This Brutal Murder

Your information could make the difference

The Crime:

At approximately 8:45 p.m., on August 24, 1992, Ronda Ellen Manley left her sister's home, where she had been
living for the past two weeks. She told her sister she was going to walk to the area near a SuperAmerica station,
100 N. 7th Street, located six blocks away. She stated she was going to "visit some friends".

Ronda Manley was seen at the SuperAmerica station at approximately 9:00 p.m..that night telling friends she was
leaving to "walk around". She was later seen walking at various locations, always alone, within theMarietta
business district. At approximately 12:20 a.m., on August 25, 1992, Ronda Manley was seen walking northbound in the 300 block of N. 7th Street with a young-looking white male. They were heard talking and laughing. Ronda
Manley was walking in the direction of her sister's home (4 blocks away)and Oak Grove Cemetery (2 blocks
away). At approximately 6:10 a.m., on August 25, 1992, Ronda Manley's body was discovered in Oak Grove
cemetery. She died as a result of stab wounds. Her body was in plain view lying in a ditch along a roadway in the
cemetery. This is an ongoing investigation. We are requesting that anyone with any information however
insignificant it may seem, come forward and assist in solving this crime. A reward of $5,000.00 has been set up for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this murder.

Ronda Manley was a white female, 18 years of age, single, 5'4" in height, and 102 lbs. in weight, last seen wearing a yellow pullover-type shirt with a "California Raisins" logo, blue shorts and blue tennis-type shoes. Ronda was a graduate of a local career center, graduating in foodservices. She was a loner-type individual as far as keeping personal matters to herself but on the other hand, she was very out going and would befriend complete strangers very easily. On her 18th birthday, she moved from her parents' home and spent the months before her death moving from one household to another. Ronda had a learning disability and seemed to associate mostly with others who also had some type of learning disability. Ronda had been employed at a local restaurant but was unemployed at the time of her death. Ronda was not known to abuse drugs. She liked camping and listening to music andenjoyed being with large crowds of people whenever possible. She reportedly had many friends but no known enemies. She had never been in any kind of trouble with the law.
