Preface

On the night of February 2nd, 2009, a woman by the name of Kimberly Jones disappeared from Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Local news did not immediately report her missing, however, some of my friends and I were watching the news in both my area and in Jackson, Ohio because we'd had some indication that something was coming.

My friend Sindee and I had been watching events since last February, and it seemed to us that we had a lot of things coming up 13 {13 days, weeks, months apart; etc.} and these included several arson cases as well as several unsolved murder cases ..... most were here in Ohio -- either in the Marietta area or down in the Jackson area where Sindee lived now days. However, Parkersburg, West Virginia was just across the river from me, and it appeared they were on a roll too. They'd had two murdered women in that same time period -- both involving their 'homes' in one way or another.

So, when Kimberly Jones disappeared just 13 days after my birthday, and had last been seen by her ex-husband/boyfriend Jack, when he dropped her off at her home -- I figured Sindee and I had better revert back to 'night shift'..... and keeping the fire extinguishers handy!

There were other peculiar things concerning Kimberly Jones and her disappearance, and most of those things are told on other pages that will be connected to this one, and all will be listed on my February page so people can follow along and see for themselves how incredibly 'coincidental' some of this stuff seems.

Meanwhile I was guessing that most people thought Kimberly's ex-husband's last name was Jones -- but it wasn't. He and Kimberly had never formally married, and she did not go by his last name ..... some might not have known that though ......

The Madison-Jefferson Fire Department was paged to a fire at 605 State Route 233 at about **12:09 p.m. Monday to a structure occupied by Jack Jones.

Three other departments, Jackson, Centerville, and Greenfield, were called for mutual aid. According to Madison-Jefferson Fire Chief Chris Walls, Jackson's ladder truck is credited with finally putting out the blaze.

Walls said the structure was not in the best of shape, but Jones escaped without injury. The house has been declared a total loss and Walls is placing the value of the structure at about $20,000.

Walls said the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.

The structure was only about 150 yards outside the corporation limits of Oak Hill in Madison Township. The Madison-Jefferson Fire Department was on scene until about 3:05 p.m.

Walls said a total of 27 personnel responded to the blaze with 10 trucks on scene.
