Officer Up For Nationwide Award

A Washington County Sheriff's Officer who was shot in the line of duty is being honored by America's Most Wanted.

Sergeant Scott Parks has been nominated for America's Most Wanted All-Star Award.

Parks was shot in the face last April during an all-night standoff and was able to drive himself more than five miles to get help.

Sgt. Parks is one of 30 law enforcement officers in the country up for the award.
