Just The Facts, Ma'am

Had the Beyond Chance program of 10-13-2001 been factual, this page might never have been added to this web site.
My "contact" in the Washington County Ohio Sheriff's Department was a detective named John Winstanley.
At our very first meeting, I presented Detective Winstanley with a contract.
That contract was an agreement between me and the Washington County Sheriff's Department in general, and Detective Winstanley in particular.
In effect the contract said, I would provide psychic as well as non-psychic information and clues, primarily concerning murder cases, to the "sheriff's department".
No money was requested for this service, and none has ever been received for anything that I have sent to the department.
The only "stipulation" concerning my work, and the information given to Sheriff Schlicher and his deputies and detectives, was that none of my information be given to anyone "outside" the field of law enforcement, and that no one outside that field be allowed to pilfer through it and "interpret, de-code, or otherwise modify it.
All "rights" to the information were "reserved by me," and no one was to use the information for personal gain whether it be in a book, tv or any other form of personal gain or glorification."
All things considered, I guess I should have insisted that the information not be shared with anyone "outside" the sheriff's department!

Approaching Murder

The following list of clues was sent to Detective Winstanley well in advance of the murder of Jenifer McCrady. I actually began sending clues of the approaching murder of Jenifer McCrady nearly 3 years before her disappearance and murder and continued right on up to within 24 hours of the discovery of her body.
Of all the cases worked, and all the clues sent, not once was any of my work ever acknowledged. Not once was I given credit or thanks for anything. Never, did Winstanley or anyone else ever ask me to explain anything that I'd sent that perhaps they did not understand.
Never was I informed of which case the pieces of information fit into. In fact, no one ever acknowledged that they "fit" anywhere, even though it eventually became glaringly obvious that they most assuredly did fit! All I ever had to go on was Winstanley's words, "Keep me informed.
And I did ... better than any 'informant' he'd ever known. My reward was unbelievable!

Trial Testimony / McCrady Case:

Mary Dye testified that she knew Belpre Police Officer Dave Garvey and that she had worked with him on "other" cases.
At first, Garvey denied knowing Mary Dye or her friend Georgia Rudolph. He said he'd never talked to either of the women and didn't know them prior to the McCrady case!
I made a note in the notebook I carried, and wondered which person was the liar, and if anything would be done about it when the truth finally came out. I should have known better than to even allow that thought to cross my mind.
How naive of me to think there was anyone here with enough integrity to take action against someone who had perjured themselves!

The Truth Comes Slowly

It was not easy to drag the truth out of Garvey, even under oath. But he eventually admitted that he knew psychic Georgia Rudolph and her friend Mary Dye.
McCrady's lawyers managed to get Garvey to admit that he had actually met Mary Dye and Georgia Rudolph about two and a half years earlier in Detective Winstanley's office, where he was introduced to the two women by Detective John Winstanley!

There are 81 clues listed on this page, not counting the oddity of Winstanley's birthday being the McCrady's wedding date.
I was aware of Winstanley's birthday, but I was not aware of the McCrady's wedding date until trial time.
When I discovered this, I figured it was one of those "identifying" factors that I have learned to look for. Some consider them "coincidences." I don't. Even unbeknown to me, I had selected the correct police officer to send the info to.
How incredibly sad {not to mention exceedingly strange} that Detective Winstanley was the only cop who was not involved in the McCrady case.

WTAP News / Parkersburg, West Virginia
Jan 11, 2008
A Belpre Police officer is on administrative leave for suspected criminal activity.
The Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation says it's looking into allegations brought against Sergeant Dave Garvey.
BI&I says Garvey has not been charged with anything at this point and it would not release any information regarding the allegations.
The Belpre Police Chief and the Washington County Prosecutor would not comment on the investigation.
