I'd gone to bed a little earlier than my usual 4 to 5 am, so I was actually back up in time to hear the noon news. Normally I wouldn't bother watching it, but for some reason my husband had gone off to work and left the kitchen tv on this morning, so it greeted me when I came from my bed room.
The headline news caught my attention just as I was letting Copper [my little house dog] out, and I returned to the kitchen to catch the rest of the report.
It seems Little Hocking School had received a bomb threat earlier this morning, which brought the Washington County Sheriff's Department out in full force!
Thankfully, nothing was found and school was able to resume.
Supposedly it was a prank call made by some teenager. Hopefully that's all it was. Still, I couldn't help but notice it is the tenth anniversary of the disappearance of Jenifer McCrady ..... and I just wonder...

Well, the 21st will be the tenth anniversary since the general public learned of Jenifer McCrady's disappearance, and since Wild Bill built the contraption that looked like a jail cell, put a dummy inside it, dressed in prison clothing, and stuck it out in his front yard for all the world to see.
He doesn't live in Belpre anymore, and I can't see what he's doing now days, so I just wonder if he'll do anything to remind me and the rest of the world that he's still around, and still a free man. Hope not, but with Wild Bill, one just never knows for sure, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
